Domingos Sipobe Foundation, hereinafter referred to as FDS, is a non-profit legal person governed by private law, with legal personality; equity, financial and administrative autonomy, approved by the Cabinet, on March 20, 2018, under Resolution No. 11/2018 of 25 April, published in the BR Series I, number 82, by the Imprensa Nacional de Moçambique. It is therefore an institution of philanthropic nature, which aims to promote human development and welfare of the Mozambican society and its respective communities, restricting its action to the vulnerable groups most affected by social inequalities caused by underdevelopment. Our action takes place through providing social action in the form of impact projects geared towards social and socio-economic development for children and elderly; civic education, technical capacity building and empowerment of youth and women in particular, and their social integration, in addition to rural development projects at local level. Our areas of intervention, inspired by the sustainability 3P's model (triple bottom line), are geared towards sustainable development with a view to generating and distributing fruits of human development, namely access to health services, education services, employment opportunities, democracy and environmental protection. The management of the sustained and desired change process aims at social transformation of the people (mentality) and their social relations, creating an enabling environment for better information symmetry and empowerment of people through skills and mindset development for transformational leadership committed to impact.
